Tea Table “Gauvreau” (Directoire Style), Ateliers Allot Directoire style tea table known as the “Gauvreau” model, constructed in solid beechwood and finished in red lacquer with an antique patina. The circular top is fitted with grey veined marble, set above a deeply fluted apron. The table stands on four slender, tapered, fluted legs with brass accents, reflecting the geometric Neoclassical vocabulary of the Directoire period. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, woodcarving, finishing, and associated trades.
