Lot 525: * Louis XVI Style Rousseau Bedside Table

Louis XVI Style Rousseau Bedside Table An elegant Louis XVI style bedside table in solid cherrywood, finished in distressed gris Trianon lacquer that reveals warm undertones of the timber. The rectilinear form stands on four straight tapered legs with brass sabots and includes three drawers with understated brass pulls and a stabilising lower shelf. Reflecting the architectural restraint associated with Pierre Rousseau, this table embodies the sober dignity of late eighteenth century design. [Loc FR626]
