Guéridon Laussel – Louis XV Style (Loc: FR809) The Guéridon Laussel is a virtuoso Louis XV–style piece inspired by the work of Oeben and RVLC, defined by its dramatic bombé silhouette achieved through steam bent rosewood and violet wood. Designed as a jewel like furnishing for an 18th century boudoir or library, it showcases masterful losange parquetry with diamond shaped latticework centred by four pointed floral stars, extending across the tabletop and lower shelf with book matched veneers. Two drawers with elaborate gilt bronze foliate handles sit beneath a pierced bronze gallery, while slender cabriole legs crowned with gilt espagnolettes descend to refined bronze sabots.
