Commode “Hache” – Louis XV Style (Loc: FR857) A magnificent Louis XV style bombé commode created après Jean François Hache of Grenoble, celebrating the dynasty’s signature “Dauphinois” aesthetic. The triple arc bombé façade and sides are veneered in diagonally matched cherrywood with pale burled elm reserves and scrolling foliate inlays framed by ebonised borders. Rich gilt bronze mounts include high relief chutes flowing into cabriole legs with ornate sabots, and a large Neoclassical sunburst mount anchoring the serpentine apron.
