Lot 1003: * BB Italia "El" dining chair

BB Italia “El” dining chair, designed by the visionary Antonio Citterio in 2009, is a masterclass in Italian minimalism and refined ergonomics. Characterized by its sleek, architectural silhouette, the chair features a sophisticated solid wood frame—likely in a grey or brushed light oak finish—that seamlessly integrates with a slim, padded seat and backrest. The internal structure utilizes tubular steel and high-quality Bayfit® cold-shaped polyurethane foam, ensuring that the chair maintains its crisp geometric profile while providing unexpected comfort. Upholstered in a premium, off-white leather, this piece exemplifies the “quiet luxury” aesthetic, making it an ideal choice for a high-end dining environment or as a sculptural accent piece in a contemporary office. Its tapered legs and precision joinery are hallmarks of BB Italia’s world-class craftsmanship, offering a timeless blend of mid-century influence and modern technical innovation.
