Lot 1078: * Chelsom 22/11204/DL is a professional-grade desk lamp from the bespoke guestroom collection

Chelsom 22/11204/DL is a professional-grade desk lamp from the bespoke guestroom collection designed specifically for the Mondrian London (now Sea Containers London) in collaboration with Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio. This architectural task light is characterised by its minimalist, conical head and slim cylindrical stem, finished in a durable matte black that provides a sharp, industrial-modern aesthetic. The unit features a weighted circular base with a prominent knurled gold-tone dimmer switch, offering tactile control and a subtle touch of luxury consistent with the hotel’s “transatlantic liner” design theme. Engineered for the rigours of high-end hospitality, this model combines focused, directional illumination with a clean, sculptural silhouette, making it an ideal choice for contemporary workstations or bedside lighting. 50cm (SC17)
