A diverse collection of nine decorative vases showcasing a blend of traditional Chinese and Japanese inspirations, ranging from monumental floor vases to smaller, textured accent pieces. The largest items in the collection feature classic blue-and-white and polychrome ceramic techniques: Large Blue and White Dragon Vase: Standing as one of the tallest, this white porcelain vase is decorated with a vivid cobalt blue scene depicting a majestic dragon and stylized clouds. It features dark, sculptural handles on the neck and a flared rim. Tall Blue and White Geometric Vase: A slender, tall vase featuring a complex array of circular medallions, geometric symbols, and scrolling vine patterns in cobalt blue. The neck is adorned with ornate blue-molded handles. Famille Rose Style Vase: This central piece features a polychrome pictorial panel depicting figures in a landscape, surrounded by traditional floral motifs and colorful borders characteristic of the Qing dynasty aesthetic. Floral Baluster Vase: A smaller white porcelain vase decorated with a delicate polychrome floral spray, including blooming peonies and greenery, with a slightly tapered base. Small Footed Bud Vase: In the foreground left, a miniature vase features a ribbed crimson base and a pale yellow flared neck with small decorative handles. Contrasting with the smooth porcelain are four pieces with more organic, tactile finishes: Metallic Glaze Jars (2 Pieces): Two large, stout jars feature a striking dual-textured finish. The upper shoulders are coated in a shimmering metallic copper-bronze glaze, while the lower bodies exhibit a matte, stone-like grey finish with natural pitting. Ribbed Crimson Vase: A medium-sized vessel with a distinctive vertically ribbed (fluted) texture and a deep red glaze that thins at the edges to reveal darker undertones. Glazed Stoneware Pot: Positioned in the back right, this vessel features a mottled grey and brown glaze with a weathered, rustic patina.
