Framed Print – Formspiel, c.1948 (After Max Ackermann) A decorative reproduction of Formspiel, originally created circa 1948 by German abstract artist Max Ackermann (1887–1975). The composition features a vertical arrangement of geometric forms—rectangles, circles, curves, and linear elements—rendered in stark black against a white ground. The interplay of shapes evokes rhythm, balance, and spatial tension, reflecting Ackermann’s Constructivist sensibility and postwar modernist ideals. This reproduction is mounted in a dark, textured frame and glazed 44 x 64cm (Loc 546)
